Hector, For tufting of cushions

HECTOR presses the cushion together at the tufting point and sews a pattern, which provides a permanent compression of the cushion and keeps the fabric and filling in place. The pattern in the form of a circle or a line is fully adjustable between 4 and 25 mm. The number and length of the stitches are easily set with a dial. You can use HECTOR for cushions up to 12,5 cm (optional lifting height of 17 cm is available) thick, fabric or leather, containing polyether foam, crumb foam or fibre fill. Normal working rate is 8 to 12 operations per minute.

The cushions are placed on a conveyor between two Hector standard machines, placed opposite each other. Via a photocell the cushions are fed into position and the tufting takes place automatically. The Hector machines are mounted on wheels, which make them easy to pull apart for service and change of bobbins.
The needle distance between the sewing heads can be set between 16,5 and 20,0 cm. The computer can hold 50 patterns.
