Focus on core business: textile sewing
Transfer of operations and spin-off of the automotive division and the Gütersloh plant to Brother Internationale Industriemaschinen GmbH as part of an asset deal.

The management of Konrad Busche GmbH & Co. KG has decided to transfer the business operations of its Gütersloh branch to Brother Internationale Industriemaschinen GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of Brother Industries Ltd., Nagoya, effective January 1, 2026, by way of an asset deal.

This strategic decision by the management of Konrad Busche GmbH & Co. KG can be implemented very quickly and easily due to the complete operational and organizational independence of the Gütersloh branch.

With this move, Konrad Busche & Co. KG is refocusing on its core business of industrial textile sewing for all types of textile products and technical textiles after more than 75 years. Since 1950, Konrad Busche GmbH & Co. KG has earned an outstanding reputation in the development of high-quality workplace solutions. This expertise will now be consolidated and expanded at the company headquarters in Stuttgart. The Yamato-Export wholesale business, which is managed by our Hamburg branch, will remain unaffected.
